Vile: Hillary brings up ASSASSINATION to justify her continued campaign

By Carmen D. on Friday, May 23rd, 2008, 1:42 pm Comments

From the New York Post:

Hillary Clinton today brought up the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy while defending her decision to stay in the race against Barack Obama.

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it,” she said, dismissing calls to drop out. New York Post

Watch the video.

VILE.

UPDATE – READ THIS: Hillary Clinton is banking all these sly shots in a zone where denial steps aside and leaves the net wide open. She uses the power of the listener’s own mind to hide her intention. She enlists the denial that Good People Employ so that they don’t have to admit the hard realities of racism. She encourages blindness. She urges you to go along with this voice of denial while she moves this string just so, and this wedge just so. Always remaining hidden to the mind that already doesn’t want to see certain things. As long as you refuse to buy into the idea that what the “AAs” (this is how some sites now reduce blacks??) have to say on these things might matter, she wins each and every encounter. She is clearly a master of her game. And she plays you. The Unapologetic Mexican

UPDATE: We have seen an X-ray of a very dark soul. One consumed by raw ambition to where the possible assassination of an opponent is something to ponder in a strategic way. Otherwise, why is murder on her mind? New York Daily News

  • Jerry C, Important - PLEASE point out where I have written advocating violence against Hillary Clinton.

how ironic that the Clintons, who used reverse-racism to enhance their careers over their who lives, are now on the receiving end of reverse-racist bigotry and double standards.

Note to Carmen: you have a post discussing violence against Hillary. Is that "cool" because of reverse-racist double standards? Who would even dare to think that you would let a similar comment against Obama be posted here?

Sealed her fate? Is her fate to campaign on, make bizarre statements, claim math illiterate probabilities, traipse around the country forevermore like an embodiment of a plague? She's here in PR this weekend. She'll get an earful from me if I get the chance. If I slap her, does the Secret Service shoot me? Might be worth it! I'm so tired of her boorishness and effrontery. She needs to find a country where they are shooting the dictator this week and she can step right up and take over. She'll be ready on the first day for that I am sure. Hillary, I, The Supreme.
    AAARRRGGGHHH!
  • Hey, Lisa, welcome to the conversation. Thank you for stopping by. What a day you picked to join us!

As you can see from the comments here, Clinton's comments are indefensible. I knew the opportunity for a gracious exit had long escaped her...but I wouldn't have predicted such a public mental meltdown (I mean what viable Democrat references the assassination of Bobby Kennedy as Ted Kennedy is dying????)Vile.

As I see it, Clinton has sealed her fate and her remarks have given cover to the superdelegates to abandon her campaign.
  • Hello there!

    This is my first visit to your blog! {waves}

I can not believe the brazen tactics that Hillary has chosen throughout this campaign. When Bush ran against Clinton, he kept saying at every speech when speaking about Bill: "Remember this word: CHARACTER" and he was repeatedly implying Clinton had poor character that would be revealed later.

Now we know what Hillary is made of. I am floored that so many of the black feminists are still standing behind her.

My blog, Black Women Blow The Trumpet, focuses heavily on race issues and you are surely invited to join in the dialogue. Currently, we are examining four methods for black women to implement in order to gain political leverage as a consumer bloc.

    Peace, blessings and DUNAMIS!

  • The woman is seriously delusional.
  • Tom
    Man, what is she thinking?
  • There is no nice way to put it: Hillary Clinton is a basketcase.
  • This woman is insane. No one could make this stuff up, it's so off the cuff.
