So, we’re pushing forward and heading back to our roots. Let me explain. Once upon a time, in March of 2007, I envisioned a space where folks of all stripes and political ideologies could talk to each other about race in America. The result has been uneven and I only hold myself responsible for that. In the past year, my posts evolved into a far more partisan groove than I would have imagined at the outset, but really I have no regrets and was compelled to push as hard as I knew how for the presidential candidate of my choice Barack Obama.

And now he’s won. And here at All About Race we move on to the future tackling issues head on in a respectful environment. I never want All About Race (dot com) to be the place to just vent without reason. I won’t let that happen, but I feel there are voices I would like to hear at our spot that either aren’t reading or who don’t feel comfortable speaking their piece/peace. I will tell you that the RSS subscription numbers are up, but I am not sure who’s out there and of course I want as many people as possible to gather and talk here.
