In Bolivia this morning there’s an event going on that that’s sweetly symbolic. Plan 3,000 is the working class enclave that’s home to many Evo supporters in otherwise hostile Santa Cruz. The people there are sick of the way white racist scum continue to try and lord it over them and so they’re fighting back…with honey.

I like to believe that with the breadth of information available to us through the internet, cable outlets, terrestrial and satellite radio, and not to mention good old newspapers, that we can keep an eye out for each other in a more efficient way than at any other time in history. And that may be true. But the converse is that we are flooded with so much random information that sometimes important information gets submerged by the unimportant.
